Willard, OH – Mercy Willard Hospital employees generously donated Christmas gifts to local agencies this holiday season.
The Mercy Willard Mission Services Team organized an “Adopt an Agency” Christmas tree for during the holiday season. The Christmas tree, located in the lobby by the elevators, held tags with donation suggestions for local agencies and organizations. In addition, there were tags for monetary donation suggestions for Starting Point to help those in need with utility bills and other needs.
There were also tags for “Mittens and Gloves” donations initiated by the Swing Bed unit and these items were given to locals schools for children who are in need. Noah’s Rainbow tags requested new or gently used blankets.
“Mercy employees were very gracious and generous this year for the Mission Services ‘Adopt an Agency’ program,” said Julie Landoll, Rural Division Director, Mission Integration and Pastoral Care.
Mercy Willard collected 15 beautiful blankets for Noah's Rainbow, as well as several toys, books, board games, art supplies and sports balls for the Hope Center. Over $150.00 was donated to the Starting Point Outreach program.
All the gifts were delivered in the Mercy Van by Mercy Willard’s wonderful driver Richard Kime.
