The Miracle Wall of Tiles
The signature feature at Mercy Children’s Hospital is The Miracle Wall of Tiles, a permanent installation of children’s artwork displayed throughout the facility. Funded by the Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center Auxiliary, the hospital commissioned the children of Northwest Ohio to paint their own interpretations of a miracle onto the nearly 1,000 six-inch ceramic tiles that make up the wall. More than 60 area schools and 8,000 youth from kindergarten through high school participated in the project.
