Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center

Visiting Hours

General visiting hours are 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, but visiting hours vary based upon the nursing unit. Please check with the staff at the nursing station for hours specific to your unit.

Cafeteria

The Greenery, located on the main floor of the Medical Center is always open for guests. Soup, sandwiches, snacks, and beverages are available from the service area or vending machines at any time. Hot meals are served from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM, 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM, and 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Bank

If you need the services of a bank, an ATM is located on the main floor of the Medical Center near the lobby.

Cellular Phones

Radio frequencies used by cellular phones may cause interference with certain clinical devices within the hospital. For the sake of all patients, cellular phones are not allowed in the Medical Center. All visitors who have a cellular phone with them should be sure they are turned off.

Flowers and Gifts

Flowers purchased at local florists are delivered to patients each afternoon by a volunteer. Fresh flowers are also available at the St. Vincent Gift Shop.

Overnight Accommodations for Family and Friends

Out-of-town family members may stay on a first-come-first-served basis for a nominal fee at Home Away From Home, an overnight hotel attached to the main medical building. Arrangements may be made by calling 419-251-6400.

Security

The St. Vincent Security Department ensures a safe and pleasant environment for you and your visitors. Guards are on duty at all times to provide directions and information. They will also be glad to escort your visitors to their cars, if so requested. Simply call the operator (Dial 0) or stop at the Information Desk in the main lobby.
