Services - Mercy Pediatric Pulmonary Specialists 

The Children’s Pulmonary Center emphasizes the importance of the child and family controlling and monitoring their health with the support of the entire pulmonary team. Our focus is on education and the goals for health set by the child and family. We believe in evidence based care and actively seek new knowledge using the research process.

We provide the following services:

Services

Treatment for children’s asthma, pulmonary diseases, infant apnea and monitoring, sleep studies, home ventilator program, cystic fibrosis, immotile cilia syndrome.

Diagnostic Services

Pulmonary function studies, infant apnea monitoring, pneumograms, overnight pulse oximetry studies and nitric oxide levels.

Treatment Services

Ciliary biopsy, hypoxia challenge test, CO2 evaluation, therapy vest evaluation for teaching, tracheostomy and speaking valve evaluatory teaching.
