Home Away From Home
Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center’s guest facility, Home Away From Home, is located in the D’Youville Education Center on the hospital campus. The facility houses 10 guestrooms, each contain two queen-sized beds and a private bathroom, telephone, TV and daily housekeeping services. A comfortable lobby, children's play area, vending machines, and a laundry are also part of the facility. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The cost of the rooms are minimal and no money is requested at the time of check-in. When our guests check-out you will be given an informational letter and a return envelope. We ask for a $30 per night donation, but we encourage you to send only what you can afford, or what you think is fair given the length of staff and circumstances.
To check on the availability of a room call 419-251-6400 between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m., Monday through Friday and between 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. weekends and holidays. To check on room availability at all other times, call the Life Flight Dispatch office at 419-251-4668.
