Mercy Kids Move is a partnership between Mercy Children’s Hospital and Imagination Station to educate elementary school kids in our region about how eating healthy and moving your body can be fun!
Together, we have adopted over 2,000 third grade students enrolled through the Catholic Diocese, Oregon City Schools, Bedford Public Schools, Rosa Parks Elementary School, Sherman Elementary and Old West End Academy. Through this program, we will help these kids build healthy habits, while providing engaging educational lessons, healthy challenges and incentives.
But, this program is not limited to only the 2,000 third grade students in these schools! As a leader in pediatric health and prevention, Mercy Children’s Hospital strives to help children throughout our entire community grow up to be healthy and strong adults.
Are you a parent of, student at or teacher in elementary school? We also want to help parents, teachers and children throughout Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan that may not be in third grade at one of the selected elementary schools. If you are a parent, teacher or student interested in learning more about healthy habits, please submit your information below and start receiving wellness tips, delicious and healthy recipes and more beginning in 2011!
Together, Mercy Children’s Hospital and Imagination Station will provide parents, teachers and children with fun and educational opportunities to help you learn how to make smart choices about nutrition, exercise and safety in your daily lives.
